Teeth staining is usually caused by staining through the use of coffee, wine, or smoking. Your dentist may also suggest you take root planning or curettage in case of a gum disease as it cleans all the roots around the teeth. During the process, the dentist may also use a local anesthesia with consent from the patient. The process of cleaning and polishing occurs through scaling and polishing.
It is advised to have a regular ‘scaling and polishing’ to keep your teeth clean once in six months and your gums safe. Usually, while brushing your teeth, if your gums start bleeding, it is an indication of gum disease. By visiting the dentist and having regular scaling, your teeth will look different and feel different as it prevents bad breath which is also caused by gum disease.
